Shiine has to be the smartest and the most sensible of the three best friends. He's almost the exact opposite of Chacha, being level-headed and in control of his magic. Seravi is always assured that Chacha and Riiya will be safe as long as responsible Shiine is with them. He tends to think things over before taking any action, which sometimes gets him left behind! When things go wrong for them, Shiine is usually the recieving end of Chacha's and Riiya's blame.

Shiine is completely infatuated with Chacha and goes through great lengths to get her undivided attention. Once he tried transforming into a mouse to impress Chacha, but that turned out pretty disasterous as she was afraid of mice!

Living with Teacher Dorothy on Urizuri Mountain is not quite easy for Shiine as he usually has to do all the housework. But he quite enjoys it, even though Dorothy tends to leave a mess everywhere! Dorothy's castle is also within magic broom flying distance, so Shiine is quite content to live there, especially since he considers Dorothy his second mother.

Shiine wears the ring of hope, and he's always there to help Chacha transform into Magical Princess Holy Up.
