ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY put out a special November/December issue on
independent film. Two-thirds of the LIO Trio are featured. Guess who
*didn't* make it? Sorry, Derm, actions and consequences, dontcha know.
Steve and James are even on the cover, albeit in tiny pix.

Welcome to the list, Leslie. Last I heard, the list wasn't working
properly, so don't be disappointed if you don't receive regular
updates. There seems to be some sort of problem over at coollist.com.

I first saw ED on tv in the summer of 96. They kept playing this little
song for it during commercial breaks (while a voiceover would say "We'll
return to Ed and his Dead Mother right after this break"). It was cute
and strange and not actually in the movie that I remember but it really
seemed like it was part of the movie...anyone know what I'm talking
about?

Keeping to the discussion on Ed..., does anybody know why it's so
hard find out anything about it? What I mean is that even Leonard
Maltins Video Guide doesn't know it, and I've never seen a mention
about it anywhere(except IMDB). Finnish tv showed it last summer,
but the finnish video version of it was published only last year(and the
movie was published in 1993, for heaven's sake), and the cover mentioned
that the original name of the movie would've been "Bon Appetit, Mama".
Why on earth would that be?

Did it go somethin like "happy people live forever, happy people never
die.. happy people live forever, people just like you and i"?? if so,
its the last song they play during the credits :) its also very vague in
the background when the scene from the Happy People Corporation is taking
place.. i didnt notice that tho til i saw the movie a few times (who
knows how many times i've seen it after the first few times tho!) :)
if thats not the song yer talkin about then.. oops! but the song *is*
cute and strange so i figured thats the one you may be talkin about :)

THAT'S IT!!!!!!!
To wax just a dab personal here, I was home sick in bed while watching this
movie...having recently been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, having surgery and
chemo. Imagine what that was like, watching this funny bizarre flick with this
happy little tune during the commercials... definitely a wild Steve
experience.
So, what's been everybody else's wildest Steve viewing experience?

Hi Everyone,
This is just a quick message to let you all know that Bravo is carrying
_In the Soup_ this weekend. Check your local listings. I know I'll be
taping it at some point. I just hope I don't have to deal with
commercials.
