Hey, everyone--

I bought the "Desperado" soundtrack yesterday. For those of you that don't
have it, you should get it. There's 2 tracks of dialogue spoken by our man
Steve. The rest of the soundtrack is pretty cool as well. I also bought "The
Wedding Singer." No singing Steve, but at least there are 2 photos of him in
the jacket.

Subject: WE HAVE A VOICE

As I'm sure everyone has noticed, there has been very little mention of Steve
in the entertainment magazines, news programs, talk shows, etc. I find this
surprising given that he's appearing in no less than four films this year.

I'm sure there are many reasons for this. I think, however, that it's most
likely the people in the media don't realize that there is a fairly large
constituent of people out there who would really be interested in learning
more about Steve Buscemi.

Sure, he may not be Leonardo DiCaprio or Monica Lewinski...but nothing at all?
I don't think it's fair, and I'm willing to guess that many of you feel the
same way.

So what I wanted to suggest is that all of us write letters to the magazines,
talk shows, entertainment news programs, etc. expressing our desire for more
features about Steve. I think that if enough of us raise our voices, we will
eventually be recognized and rewarded.

Let me know what you think,
Puck

Hey --

I was just surfing the web when I came across a small pic of Steve and
Stephen Baldwin at the 3rd Annual Celebrity Basketball Game that was
held last October. While I was happy to find the picture, I was pissed
to remember that this event was covered on E! and they spoke to Mr.
Baldwin, but not Steve!!!!!!! Anyway, you too, can see this pic at:

queenstribune.com/commentary/nyc_archive/97/42tb_nycon01.gif

Oh, a "Homicide" extra has his own web page dedicated to the show and
he has a journal of his experience working with Steve on the episode
that Steve's directing. This is at:

  members.aol.com/hlots98/extra.html

When you get there go to the # 4 link.

Later,

Kelly
                          P.S. Steve was sooooo
                               cute in TBL!

Thanks for the info Kelly, but you mistyped the url above. You're missing
a "/" between the 42 and tb. The correct url follows:

ISA...yep, that's the Independent Spirit Awards.....I was flipping through
channels last night and managed to come across a commercial for the ISA's on
Bravo...guess who they showed....

who? Why...Steve, of course!!! :) Just to let you know, they are coming
on Bravo ( or Independent Film Channel) March 23--Monday! Keep a look out
for Steve!

Also...I never really knew this, but I heard today that in LIO, the
relationship between Nick and Chad Palemino is compared to the relationship
between the director DiCillo and Brad Pitt, who worked together in "Johnny
Suede."

I saw Trees Lounge at the movie rental place closest to me and i was wondering
if it was a good movie or not. Last week I went to look for it and I couldn't
find it. If it's a good movie (not just because steve's in it, but because
it's GOOD) then i'll reserve it if it's out. Someone give me their opinion.

Hey There!

I have Trees Lounge and it's a great movie, not just because Steve's in it.
I got my boyfriend hooked on it. It's really well-written and all. I cried
at the end. It's funny and sad. Steve's son Lucian is the boy in the cowboy
hat that plays Crystal's son and the guy who plays Raymond, Steve's brother
really is Steve's brother Michael. By all means reserve this movie, KILL IF
YOU HAVE TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It proves Steve is a brilliant writer and a
brilliant director!!

Yeah, I absolutely LOVE Trees Lounge! By far, I think this is Steve's BEST
picture yet! Well, it is ONE of the best! Right up there with Pulp
Fiction, Fargo and Reservoir Dogs! I own the movie! Last week I went to a
near by video store and found 4 trees lounge boxes sitting RIGHT next to
all the blockbusters of this year and only ONE was not taken out!!! I
must admit I felt a little swell of pride for Steve. :)

I'm on 3 Discussion lists. This one, one for Duncan Sheik, & one for Ewan
McGregor. Someone's signature on the Duncan list is the following.
