Hello everyone,
I have DESPERADO on DVD and the picture is beautiful! The quality
really is amazing, so if you're the kind of person who loves movies
you should go ahead and get one. I don't think the DESPERADO DVD has
any special features, though. One of the things that I really like
about it is that if I want to pause it on Steve the freeze frame is
very clear. And of course, you can go directly to particular scenes
from the film, like "05. His Only Friend", or "12. Bar Fight
Massacre". It would be perfect for someone with a scanner that they
can use on a TV.
Later,
Kelly
PS -- Did anyone else know that
Steve snores, and loudly! I
read that in a interview
of Ben Affleck at the ET web-
site. Ben said that he had
to call Steve's wife and
ask her how she did it (put
up with it)!

Subject: Roseanne talking about Steve
Hi everyone,
Just a little Steve trivia for the week: On Monday's episode of
Roseanne's new talk show (Sept.28), John Waters was one of her guests.
They were discussing the idea of Waters making a movie of his
life/career and he said he would have Steve play his character in the
movie. Roseanne agreed that Steve would be great for the role. I think
that would make quite an interesting movie!
I can't wait for Armageddon to come out on video so I can see it for the
4th time (and buy it as well)!

Okay, I was watching Internet Tonight on ZDTV, and they did a segment on
John Waters Fan Pages, and as they clicked around showing different
things, they stopped on a Christmas Card and said it was Steve Buscemi as
John Waters! I searched all the sites they have listed at the shows
homepage, and I just can't find it! Anyone know anything about it? The

G'day!
I'm Max, a 21 year old Aussie chick, and I'm new to the mailing
list...I've been on it for only about 3 weeks now. All of you who
recieve this have the best taste in actors. Steve is so hot...and a very
good actor! So if there's anyone out there who would like to email me,
please feel free. I'm going to have a Steve video fest one day soon
(when my flatmate is not about...she doesn't have ANY taste in men and
doesn't like Steve, as if you wouldn't! Oh well, if she can't appreciate
a fine and extremely handsome actor, that's her loss). Anyway, I'd like
to thank Marni Hager for finding me in a guestbook and putting me on
this cool list, and extend a happy Hello to everyone else who reads
this! I look forward to recieving more little snippits of information
through this list!
Bye everyone!
Max.
PS: Being that I am only new to this list, I'm not sure if this has been
mentioned before. It probably has. But has everyone seen the July Issue
of Dazed and Confused? There's some pics of Steve and Lili Taylor in
there, and a sort of interviewy thing.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone...
After calling nearly 30 video stores in a 50 mile radius I was able to find
"Ed and his Dead Mother" and "Call Me".
But sadly I couldnt find "Parting Glances".
I have read so much about it, and his performance really does sound
wonderful...OK I am desperate
I NEED to see this movie now..NEED to.
So I must ask, is there anyone on the list who is willing to help me
out...PLEASE.. i'll pay for a blank tape,
I'll pay for mailing, anything. Trade for something I have. Anything!!!!
I would love to get "In the Soup" also. I havent been able to find that
one.
I have lots of movies of other indie actors too, if that could be part of a
trade as well.
PLEASE email if you are able to help.
Hey has anyone seen "The last outlaw"? I thought it was really good!!! Cept
for, well one part.
OK.
So today I went to see "The Imposters"
And loved it!! Wonderful, hysterically funny little film. I thought Steve
was great!! As usual.
What a beautiful voice he has. Is it me, or is he really looking great
these days!! Damn he was
cute. He looked so small, and fragile at times to me. Poor Happy.
Anyone one want to chat deeper about the film please email.
Take Care everyone

Hello to all . . .
Lifetime is to air the "Finnegan's Wake" episode of Homicide that Steve
directed on October 15th. As Homicide airs at 1:30 am, it might be best to
tape the day before and the day after to make sure that you get the episode.
In addition, RCA Victor is to release the soundtrack to the Imposters this
month. The soundtrack is rumored to include Happy (Steve) singing.

I was at school in history class when all of a sudden my friend
Rae gave me a great little gift. She gave me a little picture of Steve
that she found in a magazine with an article about the Toronto Film
Festival. It wasn't much but I love it. Now I keep it in my wallet.
Even though she thinks that Steve is creepy she knows how much I love
him. I just had to share that kodak Steve moment.

steve was on charlie rose today with the cast of impostors (Tucci, Lili Taylor

steve said he is takin a break from acting because the shoot from Armaggedon
took months, and he missed NY and his family. He did Impostors b/c it was
filmed in NY. He said he likes being around now because people will listen to
his ideas and rad his scripts and maybe get it made. He said he's on a break
which is bad for us his fans but maybe he'll get better roles or something any

Subject: Big Daddy / The Imposters
Hi everyone.
First of all, I noticed that someone posted that Steve was on a sort
of hiatus from acting because of the lengthy shooting time of
Armageddon. However, I've read that he's currently filming a new film
called "Big Daddy." Does anyone know anything more about this?
Secondly, is the title of the Stanley Tucci film "The Imposters" or is
it "The Impostors"? I've seen it both ways, but haven't seen the
movie, so I don't know which one is correct. I've always thought it
was "The Imposters" but so many people spell it the other way, I'm
beginning to think I've lost my mind. :)
Anyhow, thanks!

Some of you might have already found this......for anyone who has not,
there's an 8 page spread in the October issue of GQ magazine of The
Impostors. The issue is the one with Hugh Grant on the cover and the
article begins on page 218. The spread is strictly pictures of the cast
members sporting designer suits and has 2 pictures of Steve. The
full-page picture of Steve is absolutely gorgeous! It's a MUST see.
Hope you all enjoy it,
Eileen.
P.S.: I now have a copy of The Globe & Mail article (thanks to Ron) on
Steve and The Impostors. If anyone is interested in reading it, e-mail
me and I'll be happy to send it to you (I'll be deleting it soon).

Subject: Rounders
This is a little off topic, but did anyone else see the movie
ROUNDERS, with Matt Damon and Edward Norton? I thought that it was
good, but it seemed to me that Edward Norton was doing his best
impression of the sleazy "Steve Buscemi-type" character. Does anyone
else agree? As I watched the film, I kept thinking, "If Steve was
10-15 years younger, they would have cast him in this part." Ed seemed
sooooo much like Steve (or, I should say, the way that Steve tends to
play those types of roles). He had his mannerisms down, and he even
SOUNDED like him!

I think I figured out the deal with 'Big Daddy'! I found out that the
working title of Adam Sandler's next movie was 'Big Daddy', but it's now
been changed to 'Guy Gets Kid'. This must be the same movie that People
Online was talking about, but they just didn't know the name had been
changed, right? Considering how often Steve and Adam work together, it
must be the same movie! I could be wrong, but I doubt it. ;-D
Anyway, the movie is about Adam Sandler's character adopting a 6 year
old. It's being filmed right now, and due to come out next summer.

Hi,
I thought I'd just let everyone know that I finally got my Steve
autograph (in the mail) today! It took about 3 weeks. It was post
marked from Brooklyn! It's sooo cool! It's a pic from RESERVOIR DOGS
and it says "To Kelly, Steve Buscemi." Come to think of it, didn't
someone say that he usually signs "Best Wishes" or something? Heh,
heh, guess I shouldn't had told him (wrote him) that I thought he was
sexy! I probably scared him! He probably didn't want to encourage me!
As I look at my name and address written on the outside of the
envelope, I wonder if he wrote it himself. That would be sooo cool!
His assistant of someone probably wrote it, though.
