FARGO is definitly my favorite movie but it's hard to pick out a favorite
scene. Probably my favorite scene was where Carl (Steve) got shot in the
parking lot by Wade who gave the randsom money and steve was going nuts with
that gun. I don't know why, but I think it was the most exiting.

It's a toss up between the scene where Carl is trying to get his sidekick to
speak ("Total f*cking silence...) and the one where Carl is ranting and
raving at the parking lot attendant.

Ok...I admit....I watched this film solely for the fact that Steve was in it.
Big mistake!!!!
I think that this film was made only to endorse improv jazz.....if you filter
out all of the music in this film....you would only have 30 minutes of a
plot!!!
Ok...about Steve. He was lookin' pretty good...except when he was using a
handkerchief(sp?) Gross!!!
But for all of you Fargo fans--in this movie he was not beat up...he was the
one beating other people up!! GO STEVE!!!!
I do not recommend people to see this film unless they are a die-hard fan of
improv jazz.

Where did you hear about Steve hosting SNL? Did they say it on the

I haven't seen THE REAL BLONDE yet. It isn't showing in Milwaukee :(

it worth it? Maybe I'll go next weekend.

You guys are going to kill me, but some of my favorite scenes in FARGO don't
have Steve in them. The whole movie is my favorite scene, actually, but some
classics are:
when Marge Gunderson is talking to the blonde girls
when William H. Macy is trying to sell the Tru-Coat
and when the cop is talking to the guy shoveling snow ("I'm going crazy down
by the lake, don't cha know").
But a classic scene with Steve..."I mean, with a class act like Jose
Feliciano, you got no complaints."

Subject: soundtracks featuring Steve
Hey there everybody!
I was just thinking about my soundtracks that have Steve.
RESERVOIR DOGS- Has "The Madonna speech" which features Steve talking at the
beginning of it
DESPERADO- Has two tracks which feature Steve talking and a picture of Steve
from the bar scene in the beginning of the movie
ESCAPE FROM L.A.- Has (in CD a big picture in cassette a little picture) of
Steve as Map-to-the-Stars-Eddie (I love his outfit in that movie!!)
THE WEDDING SINGER- Has two pictures, one of Steve with microphone and one of
him with a guitar
THE BIG LEBOWSKI- Has three pictures: One is him bowling, looking like he's
concentrating really hard, wearing a shirt with bowling pins for buttons. The
second is him standing back while John Goodman's character Walter has his gun
out. And the third is him holding a bowling ball just standing there and it
says Donny over his head.
I was really disappointed that the Con Air soundtrack didn't have any pics of
him or anything. I also think it would have been cool if the Pulp Fiction
soundtrack would have had a pic of our Buddy Holly waiter!
The soundtracks I wrote about are for the CD's, the tapes may have less
pictures or different pics. I'm not sure

It's not a long shot. It just depends on what kind of quality you want.
These are the films that I can remember as not having any nudity:
Trees Lounge
The Hudsucker Proxy
What Happened to Pete
Parting Glances
The Search for One-Eye Jimmy
The Last Outlaw
Floundering
Ed and His Dead Mother
Reservoir Dogs
Tales From the Darkside: The Movie
Mystery Train
Anyone remember any others, or can correct me on the above? I'm also
assuming that tv shows don't count.

Subject: Steve Buscemi is a hardened criminal!!!!!!
Hi there everybody!
(to find out why Steve is a hardened criminal go to the bottom of this letter,
the second to the last paragraph)
I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner. I have two books that you
guys might be interested in.
The first one is "Quentin Tarantino: From A to Zed". It has three pictures of
Steve and a short bio. One of the pictures is Steve with Quentin and Harvey
Keitel rehearsing Mr. Pink and Mr. White's confrontation scene. It's cool.
Plus he's mentioned through-out the book.
The second is "Quentin Tarantino: The Man and His Movies:" It talks about how
Reservoir Dogs came to be and how each actor came to be in the movie.
According to the book, Steve came to Quentin's attention when he saw Steve's
supposedly horrible audition tape for The Marrying Man. He was wearing a
fifties style shirt and had slicked-back hair and Quentin thought he looked
like a criminal. He said Steve didn't even give the best audition for Mr.
Pink but Quentin just knew that Steve WAS Mr. Pink.
WHY STEVE IS A HARDENED CRIMINAL!!!!!!!!!!!
Another funny thing is that supposedly Quentin wanted his actors to feel like
criminals for the film. Steve said that in order to get into character he and
Quentin knocked over a fruit stand. Our boy Steve, a hardened criminal!!!!!!
We knew it all along!
Right now I'm at my boyfriend's house and the book's are at home so I can't
remember the author's but if anybody want's to know I'll find out and post it.

Hi,
Showtime aired TREES LOUNGE for the first time & before the movie
started they showed a few short clips of Steve talking about the
movie. He looked cute. Kym has a pic of Steve at her site where he's
in a purple shirt -- it was taken from this interview (or one by CNN
on the same day). TREES LOUNGE isn't coming back on this month, but
it'll probably come back on next month (in a couple weeks or so).
Maybe they'll show those same clips when they air it again.

Hi everyone,
Boy, is Steve busy these days! He directed an episode of "Homicide" a
few weeks ago, in a week or so he'll be hosting SNL, and now I read
that he'll be busy this Sunday, too! According to "The Village Voice
Online," Steve will be appearing at the New York Theatre Workshop for
a "one night only reading" of John Jesurun's rendition of PHILOKLETES.
Steve will be in the title role. Coooooooooool! I'll soon be reading
about this character in my Classical Mythology class. It will help if
I can picture Steve instead of whatever picture is in my book! Anyway,
if anyone is in the NY area and wants to see this, it's at --

One word: disturbing. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED this movie, but to see
Steve in this role was really disturbing. It was upsetting to me to see him
throw his life away in a movie that was really life-like. That is what I
like so much about it, though. It really is very life-like.
Yes....he and his brother, Michael, do look alike! :)
If you have not seen this movie yet, I recommend that you run out right now

I am sick of seing all these movies with Fairy Tale endings. When I saw

Subject: Living in Oblivion
I was watching LIO last night for the millionth time (actually, 5th) and I
noticed something about Steve's character in this movie:
He is really confident looking. Seriously!!! Have you noticed, and you
probably have, that Steve is always kinda hunched over in his movies like the
weight of the world is on his shoulders and he is buckling under the pressure.
In LIO he looks really confident as a director....which is ironic considering
that his character in this movie is buckling under the pressure! ;)
(The only other time I remember seeing him look this confident was in
"Resevoir Dogs.")
Anyways....here is a Q OF THE DAY challenge for anyone that has seen Living In
Oblivion.......
What is your favorite scene in Living in Oblivion?
What is mine, you ask....well, my personal fav. is when he wakes up from his

eyes and long hair!!!

Subject: Nick Reve
Hey --
I found a Tom DiCillo interview at a site called "Entertainment Today"
where he says that Steve IS supposed to be Nick Reve again in THE REAL
BLONDE. Except, he (DiCillo) doesn't look at it like it's a step down
for the character. He said that before, Nick was a kind of down & out
independent film director that nobody had heard of; now he's so famous
that Madonna picked him to direct her video.
Oh, if you happen to be watching IFC or Bravo during the commercial
breaks, and one of those Sundance Film Festival movie behind the
scenes things (you know, the one where that guy treks through all that
damn snow until he gets to the theatre) come on, wait to see if it's
the one for "Divine Trash" (the documentary on John Waters). I was
only half watching the other day (w/ the volume down) and missed a
short clip of Steve talking -- I assume about Mr. Waters. I looked up
in time to see only a few seconds of Steve :(. All I know is that he
was sitting down and wearing all black. And of course, looking good. I
don't know what it is about me JUST missing things with Steve in them

I have two favorite scenes from LiO. The first is the one where Steve
goes off on the crew, just ranting and raving, and leads into the scene
you mentioned. The other is when they are all daydreaming during the 30
seconds that Speedo needs silence to get "room tone."

I would have to say that it's the lighting. Steve's eyes are generally a
deep, dark navy blue (the only exception I know of off hand is
Desperado), so they tend to act like brown eyes unless in a good close up.

Hi everybody,
This alternative monthly in Detroit called Orbit has a list called
"Seven Wonders of the Moment". Our boy Steve is #7! This is what the
write-up says:
"If you took a bite out of every actor in the world, number one would
be Buscemi. America's greatest character actor even if that character is
undeniably Buscemi. His drunken ass gets the biggest laughs in the
Wedding Singer, directs in The Real Blonde, and in The Big Lebowski he
proves that he can steal the show even when he has to shut up."
Unfortunately, Wonder #1 is a candy bar--Reese's Sticks--can you believe
that??? I'd take Steve over a candy bar anyday (even a peanut
butter/chocolate one)....

Hmm,
I guess my favorite scene in LIO is when the dwarf "goes off" on Nick.
If you look closely at Steve in this scene, you can see that he is
