I got Steve Buscemi's autograph too! I sent it to the address at Camino
Dr. Or whatever. It's the same picture. It says "To Kym, Steve Buscemi"
on it. Doesn't that make you feel kind of... not individual? Oh well. I
was so excited when I got it I began crying! I got it in an envelope with
my address in the return place. I knew when I picked it up what it was
because it said it went through New York. =)

Love,

Kym

Hi Guys!

I was just wondering if anyone had read any interviews where Steve may have
mentioned what music he listens to. I was just curious. Music is my life so
I'm really curious as to what Steve listens to. What Happened to Pete and
Trees Lounge had a lot of country and oldies. Thanks guys!

As a life-long jazz fan as well as one who loves Steve's acting, I'm happy
to hear he shares my musical taste. He's even hipper than I thought he was.

Since it's been pretty quiet of late, I thought I'd resurrect the Question of
the Day.

What's everyone's next planned Steve-related purchase? The Big Lebowski?
Armageddon? Something else?

Mine is Armageddon, on DVD.

Subject: Merchandise Pages

Hi Everyone,

With the thought of how hard it is to find some things that Steve has been
in, I've been doing work on web pages to make it easier for the rest of
you. I currently have a page of posters (which should have Rick's Movie
Graphics added soon), and a new page of where to get videos that I'm still
working on. Currently on the videos page are www.reel.com and
www.videoflicks.com. I put the titles in alphabetical order, put the name
of the company, and gave some other information including the type of
medium (ie- VHS, DVD, LD), the price, and availability. If you take a
look at the page, let me know how you like it (or dislike it) and what I
can do to make it better.

Both pages can be accessed by going to:

http://www.fortunecity.com/lavender/rothside/79/merchant.html

I also plan to buy ARMAGEDDON on DVD -- does anyone know when it'll be
out (on DVD)?

I rented BORDERS from Reel.com earlier this year. It's a docudrama
kinda film. It switches back and forth between physicists (I think)
talking about how the government used them, and dramatizations of the
types of situations that they went through. Steve is in about 15
minutes of it if I remember correctly. It showed Steve as a physicist
who was having problems with his relationship with his girlfriend. He
looked really cute. BUT -- I don't know if I would recommend dealing
with REEL.com; they can really get s**t mixed up. I can't remember
what kind of mix up I had with them back then -- that time it was
something minor.
BUT -- a month ago I tried to rent some videos through them again and
they ended up charging me twice, plus they forgot to include the
return postage! Their service can be really s**ty!

Subject: Re: Steve's hair

SNLgirl17 initially wrote asking if it was really Steve's hair in Living
in Oblivion. IndieFan00 wrote answering that it was his real hair in both
Living in Oblivion and Airheads, and also said that they were filmed
around the same time.

After pondering this question for some time, I came up with the answer
that it is not his hair in either film for several reasons. 1) Chances
are that Living in Oblivion and Airheads were not filmed around the same
time. We know from the DiCillo screenplay book that Living in Oblivion
was filmed in two different segments. The first segment finished
shooting in December of 1993 and the other was shot in early 1994. The
film eventually made its American premiere in Jan. of 1995. We also know
that Airheads was a major studio picture that was released in 1994.
Assuming that there was a normal delay for editing and post production of
the film, that means that there was at least a 6 month delay. Ok, so this
part doesn't necessarily mean anything. It's just me ranting.

2) His hair in Airheads is much thicker than in Living in Oblivion, and
it's also wavier. Again, this doesn't mean all that much.

3) If you look at the other films that were done during the same time
period, he had short hair in them (ie- Hudsucker Proxy, Things to Do in
Denver When You're Dead, Last Outlaw, etc). This is the real one that
shoots down the "real hair" theory.

I went to get my hair cut today, and asked the person how fast hair grows
out on average. The answer was "1/2 inch per month." Based on this piece
of information, it's impossible for Steve to have grown his hair long
enough to have done either role in less than a year.

Anyone disagree with my math?

Yesterday, I watched 'Somebody to Love' for the first time, and all
the way through I couldn't find Steve. I only watched it cos he was in
it. Then, the drag queen took off her wig towards the end, and I was so
shocked to realise that that was Steve. Then I laughed for the rest of
the movie cos Steve was a drag queen taxi dancer.

New York Stories was on cable today..........and Steve was in it......I
remember that he was in it but I could never remember which part.......he's in
the one with Nick Nolte and Rosanna Arquette...........he does some
performance art thing........I wonder if he had any say in that because he did
performance art himself......he looked sooooooo cute in it........I still love
Ed & his dead mother best for 2 reasons...
1. he wears pajamas (how cute) and 2. I love when she is all over him kissing
him and he says "are you sure you got the right neighbor"....that's the film
that I first loved him in----yum yum

yesterday. I only sent a short note that said briefly can I have an
autographed picture,,,and so all I got was a picture with "to pamela,,and a

It would be interesting if we could all compare our pictures and the
autograph signature...I always think stars are too busy to do all that and
they hire people to read all their mail and sign their signatures for
them....tho I'm sure our STevie would NEVER do that!!!!!

BEEN THERE.....DOWNLOADED THAT

Not only did he have a say in it himself, he actually wrote the entire
piece that he performs.

Hi Everyone,

The person that I initially spoke to about the video is no longer in need
of it. Therefore it is up for grabs. I'll do this the same way that I
did things with the extra copies of Trees Lounge. I'll send this message
out, and immediately follow it with the digest version so that everyone
has the chance to find out immediately. The first person to email me will
get the video.

The cost of the video: $5.95 + shipping. Btw, there is NO cover for the
video. Also, I have not watched this copy of the video, so I do not know
the condition of it overall.

Actually, FX did show the episode, but it was on Saturday or Sunday two
weeks ago. I would have given notice about it, but I was flipping through
channels and came across it during the last third of the show. :-( Sorry
