Subject: Archives up!

From: Marni Hager

Last message about the archives, I promise.

The archives are now up on my web page. I decided to break them up by week for now. And, for those of you who have already checked out the archives and noticed the problem with half of January being a link, the problem has been corrected. I will hopefully be putting up the weekly archives on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and last day of each month. (ie- the next archive should be put up on Feb. 8th.)

For those that don't know, the url is:

From: Kelly

Hi,

I'm just writing to let you know that the BIG LEBOWSKI page (www.lebowski.com) is now fully operational (at least, I think it's finished). It now has a page with a Steve bio & picture. It also has production notes and stuff. Well, that's all I had to say -- Oh, I had forgotten that on those early e-mail that I sent (mid Jan.) my full name was visible. It felt weird seeing my whole name in the archives! A piece of history :)!

Check ya later,
Kelly

Good place. They had an excellent selection of Buscemi photos when I was there. Not to mention one of the only places I stopped at that had any available at all.

Another place, that has autographed photos is

Iconographs
4019 Industrial Rd.
Las Vegas, NV, 89103-4138

I believe their web site is www.iconographs.com

Subject: The Real Blonde

From: Kelly

Hey --

I think I know what kind of role Steve has in THE REAL BLONDE. A few days ago I read a review of T.R.B. and it mentioned that someone has a surprise cameo as the Madonna video director (Elizabeth Berkley is a Madonna body double). It crossed my mind that it might be Steve, but knowing that Tom DiCillo said that it wasn't a cameo that Steve did, I didn't want to believe it. Anyways, yesterday I was watching "Access Hollywood" and they showed a behind the scenes clip of the movie's Madonna video shoot (for a Elizabeth Berkley story) and who should I see but Steve! Well, almost -- it was the back of his head and the side of his face (How obsessed am I :)?). He was behind some movie cameras in a short black (brown?) leather jacket and a dangling earing in his ear. Also, his hair was short -- not TREES LOUNGE short, but about CON AIR short. This makes me think that he's the surprise cameo video director. I hope his role isn't too short.

Well, check ya later,
Kelly

From: Ville Forss

Hi,

I just saw Stanley Tucci's Big Night (great movie, btw), and saw this in the "Thanks to" section of the credits:

Jo & Steve Buscemi

So, I know of In the Soup and some other films Steve & Stanley have worked on together, but I was wondering if Steve (& Jo) had anything especial to do with Big Night, or was it just a "greeting to a friend" or something. Anybody know anything about it?

And btw, anybody know if Steve will have a part in Ship of Fools?

And one btw more, when is the U.S. premiere of The Wedding Singer?

Steve is supposed to have a role in this film, but how big it is, I have no clue at this point. Btw, the name of this has been changed to _The Immortals_.

The US premiere is Feb. 13. I can't wait! I am in desperate need of a light comedy and a Steve fix. (School is rapidly taking it's toll on me.)

Hello. Did she just say THE IMMORTALS? Could THAT explain the big mystery? Perhaps this IMMORTALS that keeps popping up on his credits list is NOT the Eric Roberts film but rather the renamed SHIP OF FOOLS (that has maybe been sitting in the can for a long time?)

Forgive me if this has already been hashed through and I missed it.

I apologize, I hadn't looked at my filmography before hand, so I got the name of the movie wrong. It's not _The Immortals_. Rather, it is _The Impostors_. I apologize for the mistake.

Hi,

I just wanted to say that a few months back when I was surfing the web, I came across a Stanley Tucci interview where he said that he and Steve were good friends and they were supposed to make cameo appearances in each other's movies (BIG NIGHT & TREES LOUNGE), but they ended up too busy to do so.

Hi Everyone,

As most of us know, _The Wedding Singer_ is opening this coming Friday in the US. I was just curious if anyone else is in as much need of a Steve fix as myself; and, therefore, going to see the film when it opens.

Anyone, anyone? ;-)

Also, based on previews, what are you expecting from the movie?

Yes, I am badly in need of seeing Steve in a movie -- and soon! So, I will be going to see THE WEDDING SINGER next Friday. It looks like it'll be funny. And if the jokes aren't that funny, I expect the '80's fashions to be. I take solace in knowing that 2 weeks later I'll see him in THE REAL BLONDE, and the week after that, THE BIG LEBOWSKI. And if we're lucky he'll hit some of the talk shows.

Later,
Kelly

I really wanna see Steve, but I'd see the movie either way. It looks so great ! Drew Barrymore & Adam Sandler rock ! I bet that Steve has a really minor role. I also wanna see Blues Brothers 2000, but I'll probably have to wait to see it on video, besides just seeing the movie I want to see Jonny Lang, he rocks ! Also my theater just released Boogie Nights again, so now I have 3 movies to see ! Man, wait til some more Steve & Ewan movies come out. Sorry, if you only wanted to hear what I thought on Steve, but I love movies. I saw Great Expectations today, it was great !
