The Trees Lounge Mailing List - Rules for Posting

This page is to inform all people currently on or interested in joining
the mailing list of the posting guidelines. The purpose of these rules
is to ensure that I, as the moderator of the list, do not exceed my
"powers" as moderator, and all posts are acceptable to a wide variety of
people.

The Rules
1. All posts must be in standard English.
	- Standard English is something that is acceptable to an English
	  teacher, not your friends.
	- Smilies (ie - :-), ;-), :-(, etc.) are acceptable, provided that
they are not overused. The same goes for abbreviations, such as
	  LOL, ROTFL, *g*, etc.

2. All posts must be about Steve Buscemi in some way or other.
	- This includes his home life, his previous jobs, pronunciation of
his name (even though it's already been covered), past projects,
	  current projects, and future projects.

3. Foul language will not be tolerated by the moderator.
	- If you want to include foul language, you must write it as
f***, for example. This includes all quotes.

4. The moderator maintains the right to edit any and all messages.
	- This means reworking the foul language to meet the above standard.
	- This also means removing writing that is not about anything in
	  rule #2.

5. Attachments (.wav files, pics, etc.) are not allowed as many people do
not have the ability to view these easily (the moderator included).

6. Do not change fonts, colors, or sizes for the same reason as attachments.

7. Quote only what is necessary for your post, and make sure you tell us who
you are quoting. Delete anything else, if possible.

8. You must let the moderator know if you are changing addresses or no longer
want to be on the list. If several messages bounce back, you will
automatically be placed on the "nomail" list until I get a message
asking to resume mailing you. If I send a message to you and it bounces
   back, you will be removed.

9. The moderator maintains the right to remove any person from the
mailing list that does not comply with the above rules.
