Like the green shade? I was standing next to him but my facial expression
could serve as inspiration
for his next comic villain so I spared you from seeing it. I was so
happy to met him in person.
He was very kind to send me a copy of the Halloween Nikita drawing
when I wrote to him and
*begged* for it. It now hangs in my room and I wanted to thank him.
I was so nervous, who knows what I actually said
"thanks...witch...me...room....bye"
Doug gave us the latest on participating in the LFN comic book.
As it is now, the comic book is stuck in red tape. LFN productions
has Luc
Besson's permission to make the series but they don't know if they
can
make the graphic series. The chances of Doug being involved in the
graphic design of the project is looking slim. That's such a shame.
I have written letters to support him in making the comics because
his work is great.
I bided on a lot of his items but it got too rich for me (that should
prove, he has a lot of admirers
who would buy the comic book with his designs).
Doug showed us how to make story board images. The arrow means that
the character has turned around. He says he loves his job but it gets
tiresome to do the
same scene over and over again. Joel asked him to do the opening to
"Looking for Michael" four times.
Someone asked him to draw us a photo. It took him two minutes and it
looks great. While he was
drawing, he talked about how he draws funny things on LFN call sheets
for people to enjoy.
This is a close-up of the drawing. Due to time, she's standing in a
hole.
