In the years following the War of the Ring...

     Pippin married Diamond of Long Cleeve and in 1430, their son Faramir was born.  Four years later, Pippin became Thain and in 1463 Faramir Took married Sam's daughter Goldilocks.  Merry became known as Meriadoc the Magnificent, married Estella Bolger, and became Master of Buckland.  In 1484 Pippin and Merry left the Shire to visit King Eomer in Edoras before eventually traveling to Gondor.  They spent their remaining few years in Gondor before they died and were laid to rest in Rath Dinen - eventually next to Aragorn when he passed away in 1541.
