It's the strangest television show I've ever seen ~ like David Lynch does comedy.....but it's fun! Enter Scumbag College and meet The Young Ones ~ a group of College flatmates who spend more time torturing each other than studying. Neil the hippy, Rick the "People's Poet" and wannabe anarchist, Mike "the cool person", and the lovable psychotic med-student Vyvyan.

My favorite character is Vyvyan played by Adrian Edmondson.

Vyvyan

Vyvyan spends most of his time being bored, breaking things around the house, or torturing Rick. Nothing seems valuable to him other than his car and his pet.

Adrian Edmondson

Adrian met Rik Mayall at Manchester University before they appeared together in The Young Ones. He was one of the co-founders of The Comic Strip in 1980 and his television career began in 1981 with Boom, Boom, Out Go the Lights. Since then, he has appeared in several British television shows, stage performances, and film. Some of these include Friday Night, Saturday Morning, The Magnificent One, Supergrass, and Filthy, Rich and Catflap. He has written the scripts of Bottom, a novel titled "The Gobbler", and has provided the voice for several audio books (mostly for Dr. Seuss). Adrian married Jennifer Saunders (of Absolutely Fabulous fame) in 1985 and they have three children. Adrian and Rik Mayall continue to work together, appearing as the comedy duo "The Dangerous Brothers", in the television show Bottom, and in Waiting for Godot.
