Alethia is a creation of Kylen Miles. The Space Rovers -- "A Hero's Welcome -- Part 3" Sheena and Cobber rush past the startled wedding guests on their way back to the Canius Minor. Persia and Grunt soon join the pursuit as they all see Abdullah running ahead of them. SHEENA (panting, running): Where is deck five, section seven? PERSIA (panting, running): That's the recreation area! GRUNT (panting, running): GRRRRRRRRRRRR GROWL! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR COBBER (panting, running): Well, if no one is supposed to be in that area now, then why the emergency call for help? In a matter of minutes, Sheena, Cobber, Persia and Grunt are inside the recreation room and see a very puzzling sight. They see Daisy and Orchid, dressed in karate robes, lying unconscience on the floor. They also see Deborah kneeling over the two fallen Space Rovers, attending to them. PERSIA (looks at Poncho): Report, Cadet! PONCHO (pointing): I was just doing a routine security patrol on this deck when I saw Daisy and Orchid on the floor over there, bleeding and knocked out cold! I yelled down the hallway for help, it's a good thing Deborah and Hans were here! SHEENA (surprised): DEBORAH! You should be on your honeymoon now! You're still in your wedding dress! Why are you even here? DEBORAH (places a cold compress on Daisy's forehead): I heard Poncho's cry for help and came running! Hans and I were packing a suitcase to go to our wedding cottage on the other side of the planet. I've managed to stop all of the external bleeding. Whoever did this to them sure knew how to fight! PERSIA (growling): I know who did this! Although they're both unconscience, I can still read their minds. COBBER (turns to Persia): Well, Cap'n, who's the bloaks that did this? PERSIA (angry): Daisy and Orchid did this to themselves! They both came up here during the reception, and agreed to fight each other karate style, the winner would get Rasputin and the loser would back off! GRUNT (upset): GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR GROWL! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR PERSIA (sternly): I agree, Grunt, this is no way to settle this issue! Sheena, Abdullah, get the emergency stretchers in the far right hand closet. Poncho, Grunt, Cobber, assist them, we need to get these two crazy dogs to sick bay fast! Within minutes, Daisy and Orchid are carried to sick bay and placed in hospital beds. Deborah and Sheena use smelling salts to revive them. DAISY (grougy): What.....what happened? ...... Where......where am I?...... ORCHID (grougy): Hey........ this isn't the rec room!......it's......sick bay! PERSIA (very angry): That's RIGHT! Both of you are in sick bay! I'm very disappointed in both of you! DAISY (lifting up her head slighty): But Captain, at least we didn't ruin the wedding or the reception....OW! ORCHID (puts hand on her head): EOW! Yeah, this was our way of deciding who gets Rasputin! By the way, which one of us was knocked out first? SHEENA (growls): I haven't the foggest idea! You two really beat yourself up pretty bad! ABDULLAH (holding clipboard): Daisy, you have multiple lacerations to your head and body! Orchid, you're suffering from a slight concussion! Both of you have bruises all over you! DAISY (smiles slightly): Doctor, which one of us is beat up the most? ORCHID (stares at Abdullah): Yeah, we have to determine a winner somehow! Poncho, did you see who got knocked out first? PONCHO (surprised): No, senorita! Both of you were just lying there when I found you! DAISY (angry): Shoot! That means we'll have to fight it out again! ORCHID (growls a little): I'm ready when you are, bloodhound girl! PERSIA (furious): ENOUGH!!! I'm putting a stop to this right now! Daisy, you and Orchid will be confined to your quarters as soon as you get well until further notice! I will not have any more brawling aboard MY ship! Is that understood, ladies? DAISY & ORCHID (in unison): Yes, Captain. SHEENA (turns to Deborah): You are a very dedicated medical tech, but you just got married two hours ago. I order you to take your new husband and go on your honeymoon, understood? DEBORAH (points): But what about ..... SHEENA (smiles): Dr Abdullah and I are here to take care of these two karate kids, now GO! DEBORAH (smiles): Thank you, ma'am! As Deborah, Poncho, Grunt and Persia leave sick bay, Sheena grabs a thermometer and sticks it in Orchid's mouth. Cobber walks over next to her. SHEENA (looks at Cobber sadly): Sorry, mate. Looks like I'm going to have to stay here for a while. COBBER (grins): It's OK, Sheena, I understand. SHEENA (removes thermometer and looks at it): Cobby, just like you're at home with the Road Rover elite, my place is here, aboard the Canius Minor. COBBER (frowns a little): This is true, my love! SHEENA (looks at Cobber): Oh Cobby! We may never be together! You'll always be stuck on earth, and I'll be always buzzing around the stars! (sadly looks down): You may find someone else .... COBBER (takes her by the hand): Sheena, you're the only one I love! I knew it the moment I first saw you! Sheena, I've never felt this way about any female in my life! SHEENA (looks up, almost crying): Really? COBBER (smiles): Yes Sheena! I'll always love you, whether you're standing right beside me or even if you're light years away. Besides, the Canius Minor does return to Earth from time to time, and who knows? Maybe the Master will give me a few temporary assignments with the Space Rovers! SHEENA (sadly, crying): You know I'll miss you..... COBBER (looks lovingly into Sheena's eyes): And I will miss you as well Cobber and Sheena kiss and then hug each other. Daisy is watching all of this from her bed. DAISY (talks to herself): I wish Rasputin loved me as much as Sheena loves Cobber! The scene shifts back to the reception, where Rasputin and his father Confuse-us are mingling with the crowd. Poncho tells Rasputin about what happened with Daisy and Orchid, he and his dad run back towards the ship. Roger Maddog and Kyra are taking a quiet stroll near a grove of orange trees behind a small lake. They find a park bench and sit together. Kyra is still a little shook up over the things Roger's sisters had said to her. KYRA (looks up at the sky): Roger, if I ask you a question, will you tell me the truth? ROGER (takes Kyra's hand): Of course I will, darling! KYRA (turns to Roger): Do you consider me a half-breed? Do you think I'm any less of a person because of .... ROGER (interrupts): Absolutely not! I fell in love with you the moment Hunter introduced you to us! You're beautiful! KYRA (blushes): Oh Roger, I've worked very hard at Collie Squadron Headquarters to be accepted by the others, why can't your sisters see me as a person rather than as a genetic mistake? ROGER (holds her other hand): Kyra, not all of my sisters are that short-sighted. Molly and Samantha think the world of you, and so do I! KYRA (brightens): I know you really mean that! ROGER (smiles): Of course I do! My dad, DJ and Uncle Buford think a lot of you, too! KYRA (happy): Your father is a very nice man! No wonder he's a famous attorney! ROGER (laughs): Look, just don't pay any attention to Abby, Vicki and Linda! They've always been somewhat snobby all of their lives! Remember when they objected to my dad dating Hunter's mom? KYRA (smiles): How could I forget? I had to treat DJ's bruises and Samantha's jaw! That Hunter sure has a powerful right hook! As she is yet speaking, they both hear a loud splash in the lake. A white volleyball had landed in the middle of the lake. Luigi and Dervish run to the edge of the lake and watched the ball land. LUIGI (shakes fist at lake): Momma Mei! There goes our game ball! DERVISH (smiles): I'm sure the Willians have another volleyball! KYRA (walks over to Dervish): I'll get your ball! Kyra reaches out towards the lake, her arms extend until she has the volleyball in her hands. Her arms shrink as she brings the ball back towards herself. KYRA (tosses the ball to Luigi): Here you go! LUIGI (amazed): WOW! That'sa some trick! DERVISH (smiles): Hey! We could use two more players, how about you and Roger join us! ROGER (walks over): Sounds like an invitation to me! KYRA (happy): Why not? The scene shifts to another part of the reception area, where Whitey and Alethia are returning from their walk in the woods. Lao Zi, Su Li and Dawn walk over to them. DAWN (playfully): And just where have you two been? WHITEY (sternly): Young lady, Alethia and I were having a long discussion DAWN (smiles): About what? WHITEY (sternly): We were having a private conversation, Dawn. DAWN (pokes Whitey): Hey, lighten up! You're way too tense! LAO ZI (looks at Dawn): There is a time for merriment and mayhem, and then there's a time to be serious! DAWN (dumbfounded): Whatever..... SU LI (smiles): Dawn does have a point, my husband, you seem very intense at all times! Why not relax? How about taking a swim? LAO ZI (surprised): When would I have the time for such an activity? SU LI (wicked grin): How about NOW! Su Li pushes her husband into the lake, laughs outloud and then jumps in herself. Dawn, Whitey and Alethia watch, and then all three dive in themselves! Other Road Rovers hear the noise, come running, and jump in also. Grunt runs up to the edge of the lake and is totally caught off guard. GRUNT (loudly) GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR GROWL!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRR! DAWN (splashs water in the air): We're all swimming, that's what we're doing! GRUNT (confused): GRRRRRRRRR GROWL? SU LI (smiling): Yes Grunt, with our clothes on! DYLAN (motions): Why not come and join us? It's fun! GRUNT (smiles wide): GRRRRRRRRRRRR! Grunt take a running jump into the lake, causing huge waves to ripple all around him. BLITZ (stands at edge of the lake laughing): Look at them making fools out of themselves! COLLEEN (laughs): One more fool won't hurt, Blister! Colleen pushs Blitz into the lake, he starts flapping his arms and splashing in the water. BLITZ (screaming): HELP ME! I CAN'T SWIM! I'M FAR TOO PRETTY TO DROWN!!! HUNTRESS (angry): Blitzie! Stand up! You're in the swallow end of the lake! Blitz stops struggling and stands up. BLITZ (embarrassed): Oh yeah... well, I knew it all along! Ya! I did! COLLEEN (under her breath): Fluffypants! The scene now switches to a Willian launching pad, three hours later. The Willians are about to return the Road Rovers to Earth. There are many sad partings. Cobber and Sheena have one last, long goodbye kiss before he steps on the runway. Alethia hugs Whitey and says,"thank you for being a friend, call me when you visit Earth" as she walks up the side gang plank. Rasputin hugs his father one last time. Dylan, Dervish, Dawn, Hunter, Colleen, Exile and Shag all wave to the Space Rovers and their Willian hosts as they board the transport vessel. Blitz is still shaking off water as he and Huntress walk down the runway. Running to catch the transport are DJ and Molly Maddog, all covered in black dirt. Ben, Roger, Kyra, Otto and Samantha wave to all as they enter the transport ship. Lastly comes the three collie sisters Linda, Abby and Vicki. They are emotionless as they walk the side gang plank to enter the ship. The scene now returns to Persia's office aboard the Canius Minor. She is recording another log entry. PERSIA (into mic): Captain's log, entry 1521. It's been five days since our arrival on Graum 7. The native population have treated all of us like royalty. The last of our hull and engine repairs were completed two hours ago, thanks to the gracious efforts of our Willian friends. Even Lt Molly had to admit that they did a wonderful job! The Canius Minor will be leaving Graum in two hours, I've asked Alexander to assemble the crew at the amphitheater one last time for a very special presentation. End entry. The scene switches to the amphitheater where all of the Space Rovers (except Sheena, Abdullah, Daisy and Orchid) are gathered along with thousands of curious Willians. Ki-Alla stands on the center stage with Persia, Boomer, Saundra, Alexander, Whitey and Bob. PERSIA (on loudspeaker): Ladies and gentlemen, and fellow Space Rovers! On behalf of the Space Rovers, I want to personally thank Ki-Alla and all of her support personnel who helped us repair our spaceship! I also wish to thank all of those who helped with the double wedding, the food, and all of the recreational activities for our stay on Graum! Ki-alla, your planet is deserving of it's reputation as the best rest stop in the entire galaxy! Clapping and cheers from the audience. PERSIA (on loudspeaker): During our encounter in space with Ultra and his evil pack of Cano-Sapiens, our crew pulled together and I'm very proud of each and every one of you! However, four members of this crew performed well above and beyond the call of duty and at this time I want them to join me on this stage. They are, Ensign Fydo, Cadet Deborah, Lt Bob and Lt Commander Grunt, will all of you please come forward? Fydo, Bob, Deborah and Grunt walk onto the stage and stand beside of Persia. PERSIA (on loudspeaker): Ensign Fydo, for your bravery and quick thinking in saving the lives of two of our Rover children, I give you this medal of commendation! Congraduations! Well done! Applause from the crowd. PERSIA (on loudspeaker): Cadet Deborah, your unselfish act of heroism helped to save the lives of two crewmembers trapped in a corridor. You risked your own life to sabe theirs, and for this, I not only award you this medal of commendation but hereby promote you to the rank of Ensign! Congraduations, Ensign Deborah! Applause from the crowd. PERSIA (on loudspeaker): Lt Bob, thanks to your unique and newly discovered abilities, you were able to save four crewmembers from certain death! For that, I award you this commendation and our deepest graditude! You are truly worthy of your father, Prime Minister Roberto of Jurrassia! Applause from the crowd. PERSIA (on loudspeaker): And lastly, you, Lt Commander Grunt. It is thanks mostly to you that we were able to defeat Ultra and disable his stolen Willian vessel. Almost singlehandedly, you took it upon yourself to make sure the Canius Minor and her crew survived, and you nearly gave your life to do it. Not only do I award you this medal of commendation, but I am personally promoting you to the rank of full Commander! We Space Rovers owe you a very very deep debt of graditude for your noble service, thank you! Thunderous applause from the crowd, many Willians jump up and down screaming for Grunt. Then Ki-alla approaches the podium and has an announcement of her own. KI-ALLA (on loudspeaker): Ladies and Gentlemen! I, Ki-alla, administrator of Graum 7, wish to recognize the following members of the Space Rovers for their valient deeds in defending our people and the Jurrassian Alliance! Ensign Fydo and Lt Bob fought bravely against the tyrant rebel Milex to save King Rhinon and Prime Minister Roberto. Commander Grunt stopped our hijacked spaceship from destroying the Canius Minor and perhaps this entire region of space. All three of you will now be awarded the Krolic Fleed, the highest military honor in all of the Jurrassian Alliance. In your language, Krolic Fleed means 'defender of the realm.' All hail the Krolic Fleed! All of the Willians in attendance stands up and gives a loud salute. Another of Ki-alla's assistants gives the strange looking medals to Grunt, Bob and Fydo. The scene switches to the Canius Minor, hours later. It is ready to blast off for space. Ki-alla shakes hands with Persia and Grunt before they wave to the crowd and enter the ship. Thousands of Willians gather around the landing pad, watching as the Canius Minor takes off. ----------------------------------------------------------
