HER LIFE
Other hobbies Sarah has are rollerblading (good for her!), ice skating, water skiing and cliff diving?! She was a competitive figure skater for three
years and at one point she was ranked 3rd in the New York State regional competition. She has also done Tae Kwon Do and is currently a brown belt
studying other sports like boxing and gymnastics.

She started her media career at a very early age and staged many commercials as a minor. One of her first T.V shows was a talk show where she
was one of the hosts of the program. Her first main T.V appearances were first noticed in the series, "Swans Crossing" where she played Sydney
Rutledge, the lead role. Come February,1993 she starred as Kendall Hart on the set of "All My Children". After just one year of working on AMC,
she was nominated as Outstanding Young actress. Although she did not win, she was ecstatic at the fact she was nominated. Only the next year when
she was nominated, she won the Emmy! One day after the win, producers of AMC announced that Sarah would be leaving the show. They already
knew this before she won the Emmy but that thought that it should be brought out after the Awards.

Since then she has starred in many popular films such as Scream 2 and I Know What You Did Last Summer. In 1996 she was chosen as the lead to
star in a new series called Buffy the Vampire Slayer, based on the movie. Since the second season started the series has taken a huge leap to rank
84th position in the Nielson ratings. Sarah's next film to star in is Cruel Inventions, which started filming April 6th and after that she will film another
movie called "The Magic Hour". In IKWYDLS she won the Blockbuster Entertainment Award of Best Supporting Actress - Horror Category. Way
to go!! She was also crowned, "The most beautiful woman" by Mr.Showbiz. Rightfully so! Of course there is more to her life than that but I'll stop
typing now about the talented actress, Sarah Michelle Gellar.
