Jonathan is found to be a super hero in this episode. A paragon of perfection spell is how he obtained his
perfection. Buffy thinks that maybe this is an alternate universe that things weren't supposed to
be this way. Buffy turns out to be right and in order to keep balance in the spell a paragon of evil had
to be created. As Buffy fights the Ultimate Evil, Jonathan becomes more scared (due to the hurting of one paragon
affecting both) and backs away. When Buffy falls down Jonathan charges at the evil incarnate and knocks him into
a dank dark pit. Buffy barely grabs Jonathan before he, himself falls to his death. The evil dies and the
spell is broken. Everything is restored.
