Die Hoenderkop is South Africa's first and only museum pub. The pub is part of the CP Nel museum in the town of Oudtshoorn. Die Hoenderkop is considered to be one of the main drinking spots during the Klein Karoo National Arts Festival that is held annually in Oudtshoorn. Contributing to the fame of the pub is the famous and not so famous people that flock there every year to tell a great un/rehearsed story in public.
