Assured Loading Tickets: Available in books to ten one-way passages for $270.00. Assured loading tickets now cover persons in vehicle.
Schedules and Vessels: Schedules are subject to change without notice.
Because of unforeseen circumstances vessels could be substituted.
Safety Information: Regulations prohibit passengers on vehicle decks during crossing unless accompanied by a crew member. All goods carried on board must comply with relevant International and Canadian regulations on dangerous goods. Recreation vehicles carrying propane must fully close cylinder valves while on board.
Oversized Loads: Subject to a $100 surcharge.
Smoking: Smoking is restricted only to specified areas.
Liability: Carriage is subject to conditions on contract of carriage issued by the carrier.
Liability of carrier shall not exceed the base figure established by the Carriage of Goods by Water Act.
Accessibility: Vessel design does not allow for accessibility to all areas. Please check with terminal or reservation office for details.
Pets: Pets are not permitted on passenger decks. Kennels are available on most vessels.

Northumberland Ferries sail from Wood Islands, PEI, and Caribou, NS, nine times daily in peak season. The journey takes about 75 minutes. All prices are flat rates starting at $49.00
So, now no matter how many people you squeeze into your car, you'll only pay $49.
When you're travelling from Charlottetown to Halifax, you'll also be saving 100 driving km or $32 in owning and operating costs* on your car when you take the ferry. Plus, because you're letting someone else do the driving, you'll be able to enjoy more of the ride.
There's an on-board cafeteria where you can grab a snack, decks to stroll while you take in the spectacular view, and a lounge where you can sit back and relax or play a game of cards with your family.
