The Garden of the Mad Gardener
The Mad Garden

A garden of mingle by the fruits and the herbs, from the formal to the whimsical a dance has incurred . Walls living and scented court rooms for your rest, the herbal teas flow and the people they jest. "Sound and perfume swirl in the evening air"(1.) whilst cool waters trickle to whom knows where. Alcoves revealed by the candles white flare, beckoned by solace form the dead poets lair. Memories of days past form a labyrinth through your mind, the best formed only from the days you were kind. Melted by mellifluence is the modern melee, transport us unto Eden to when our times were care free.

The following is a confession and promise to every living organism on the planet earth from the Mad Gardener:

I confess that I am guilty of crimes against our environment!!
In the past I have used broadleaf herbicides to reduce weeds in my lawn and used carbaryl to kill cucumber beetles.
I apologize and will forever refrain from using chemicals as a weapon to enhance my short term gains.
As compensation to the environment and all its guests I will build extra habitats for birds and ensure my garden is a well balanced eden for all living things. I will live and work with nature and all her beauty by being a part of the natural cycle and not a destroyer of it.
I now understand the beauty of the process and will see beyond the skin deep perfection of a chemically manicured lawn.

As long as you have the land
you will never be poor

I choose to live and work with nature and all her beauty

To live any other way would be a denial of my essence.
