THE THIRTIES

I love this site.  It will bring back memories or will teach you things you didn't know.  It is crammed with social history.  If only school was this much fun.  



The decade of the great depression, the election of Franklin Roosevelt, the dust bowl, the beginning of social security and $.14 bread.  The decade we started on the road back from bread lines and no hope to belief in ourselves, as a world war awaited us in the next decade.  Another great decade presented to us by Kingwood College Library.   American History - 1930-1939
