Ken's Dog House

So you are looking for a good quality dog house. Well you have come to the right place. This is about the cheapest and easiest to build, it is constructed from one 4x8 sheet of 1/2" plywood. This dog house has been used by me for a number of years and has proven to be very sturdy and the dogs like them. They like to stand on them. They get a better view, they like laying up there and looking down on the world for a change and they can stay warm inside in adverse temperatures. I live in northern Manitoba Canada and we have seen the mercury fall below -40 C. But with some good dry straw this house will keep your dog warm day and night. Keep in mind that a small house is much warmer than a big one. As it can keep the heat generated by the dog closer to him. The door is kept small as well but even a large dog can access this house and turn around inside. I use only screws and glue no nails in the construction.
