SUPERCLUBS' BOSCOBEL BEACH RESORT

A FAMILY RESORT NEAR OCHO RIOS. JAMAICA

We took our children to Jamaica in May of 1998. We stayed at Boscobel Beach, a SuperClubs Resort where kids under 14 stay for free with a paid adult. So a week at Boscobel Beach for all four of us cost only a little more than a week for the two of us at another resort. The only difference was the airfare for the kids which on AirJamaica's Children's Fare was supprisingly affordable.

Make no mistake about it! This is a resor designed for kids and they are everywhere! Tons of activities, games, shows, etc.... Our kids were active and having blast from abotu 7:00 AM until about 10PM ! Our kids were 4 & 7 when we went so they both were in the same age group for the Kid's Club ...The Boscobel Bears!

We stayed in a renovated Junior Suite (Rm. 446) and it was very large, clean , and comfortable. I can only guess that thepeople who complain about the rooms at Boscobel did not say in this room. It was the nicest room we have had at any all-inclusive. I am not sure when all the rooms will have been renovated, so I am sure all were not this nice but we were very happy with RM. 446!

Our Junior Suite had a King bed for us. On the bed in the photo was a towel shaped like a heart with fragrant rose petals sprinkled on it. This is how it was when we arrived. In a step-down area separated by closable louvered shutters was the kids area. The children's bunk beds can be seen through the shutters. Also in that part of the room was a TV (with cable- HBO, ESPN, Disney), and a sofa that would fold out into another bed if needed.

There was a walk-in closet and a large bathroom with two sinks and a long mirror (handy on a family vacation!).
