A large drain about 2 miles long starts at the river and follows close to Highway 280 before forking to the north and east. As is typical of drain tunnels along the Mississippi, vertical drop shafts from shallow drains flow into this drain at periodic intervals. Despite its large size and interesting design, I haven't explored this drain yet.
