June 21: *blanches at the last date* Boy, it's been a while! Very, very sorry for the lack of updates. We have a Bonder for Chishikith's clutch, and we could really use more. Remember, the parents are oddities from the Healing Den, so there might be a /very/ special calf if we get the right Bonder. Also, Icaruss is in need of males for her swim. I know there's a severe shortage on male sea dragons, but if anyone has any then please sign them up.

April 1: Expect a hatching shortly, for it's April Fool's Day and we've got a full slate of Bonders, all three of them.

Later: Yay!!! Khaness' clutch has hatched here, Chishikith has swam here, and she's clutched a very nice-sized batch of eight on the Beaches, story for that coming shortly. More Bonders being accepted!

March 25: The second Bonder is in, which pleases me to no end. I'll still wait until April 1st to have Khaness's creator start with the story, though.

You slowly open your eyes to a golden Alskyrian morning, unaware of where you are or what happened to get you there...or what the strange rubbery substance you're laying on is. Trying to get up, you feel yourself pale as you stare into the large, inhuman eyes of a small green sea dragon.

"You took quite a spill," he says cheerfully, paddling along as if he hadn't a care in the world. "Lucky thing I was on duty or we would've found out too late. Why anyone would try to sail Saga's Sea on a blustery day is beyond me. The weather's way too temperamental around here to even think about it."

You just blink, never having seen a sea dragon up close before. Coves were still a rare thing, sea dragons only having introduced themselves to humans recently. There hadn't been one anywhere near here last time you checked.

After a few more minutes of swimming, the green squints into the distance and nods. "We're almost there, not much longer," he assures you.

"'There' is Lathis Cove, human," snaps another voice, and a blue sea dragon surfaces beside you. He's obviously a much older male, his large crest lined with battle scars and his skin very slightly grayed.

"Don't let this old fart worry you," your ride assures you cheekily. "Kooross is just an ant when it comes to new humans, and you're about as new as they come. M' name's Rikiass, by the way."

Kooross growls at the youngster. "Old fart? You listen here, calf, show some respect for your elders. I've guarded this sea longer than you've been alive!"

You watch the two of them in a bemused fashion. At least the land was coming up quickly. What you would actually do when you got to this new Cove was another story. Ask the Covelord for immediate transportation home...or look around a bit? Its warm tropical climate would suggest the latter.
