So, I don't own a zane pro, but having rode on it once, I give a thumbs up for this board. The first impression that I got when I rode on this board was that "boy, ain't she responsive!". It responses quickly on sudden edge changes and allows hard craving on the edges as you would not expect off the wide board. Another aspect of the board that was well liked among those who tested the board was that it did not give that 'board stuck on to the water' feeling, making the ride more 'free' so as to speak. Well it is pretty wide at 17 inch across. Initially it did feel kind of awkward when I was edging out on the sides. However, after getting accustomed to its shape, I appreciate the 'cleaniness' it gives when edging - absolute no 'splashing'(the kind of splashes u get on your feet when edging out - *sigh...really make me feel like dumping my old board). Anyway, having the whole 17 inch slamming into the wake, one can expect to 'fly' on their jumps. What can I say more? Definitely a candidate when I go shopping for my new board! =) Give us your comments. |
