Aviaries
Sharon Casmiers says
"I did write for the "Canary & Finch World" magazine, and "The Birds of
Distinction" magazine. A picture of my lory aviary was also published in AFA,
"Watchbird" magazine along with my article on Lories.
Rosemary Low also used a picture of my lory aviary in her new book,
"Hancock House Encyclopedia of Lories."

This picture is of my granddaughter Danielle and my pet starling named "Arnie
the darling starling." Arnie was handfed and was kept at liberty in the back
yard. He was delightful, and surprised many visitors by flying down behind
them and landing on heads or shoulders.
Scares the Heck out of UN-expecting guests. Arnie was named after a book
written that was titled "Arnie The Darling Starling" however I can't remember
the authors name.
Hope you enjoy this picture!

The lory is called a duyvidebode's lory

This is a picture of the Bali Mynah building, the small tan building with the
pink trim is the Eclectus building, which is the first building we built
.

This is a picture shooting up to the Lectern roof so you can see how clear the Lectern is. Also some of the lorries. The flight cages are 7 feet long and 6 feet tall and 3 feet wide.

This picture was taken inside the building in the service hall. * note the drains on the floor, The long tubes are the heating ducts from the furnace.

This is a baby swainson's lorikeet in the iso mask for new bird examination & a ton of testing, taken by Dr. Holly Reed, I am the one holding the baby named Millinieum.

This one was taken inside the lorikeet exhibit. This is the reason I am working so hard. The educational part is so thrilling. Who knows these kids may grow up to become ornithologists, veterinarians, or aviculturist someday because of this experience. I call this one "Lasting impressions"

I couldn't help but show off this beauty.
A blue streaked lory named Babar.
