Ships in HalifaxHalifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, the second largest harbour in the World, will be the place to be from July 20 to 24, 2000. To celebrate the new century, the International Sail Training Association (ISTA), in conjunction with the American Sail Training Association (ASTA), will be organizing Tall Ships 2000, a major race for square-rigged and other sail training vessels.
