BIOGRAPHY
Walpurgis Nacht exists as a band only since the year of 1998 e .v., although its elements had already been involved in another project back in 1996, under which they appeared live once, with the logo Horned God and the style being a little different from the actual. In spite of the severe efforts of several natures made by the existing elements to continue with the act, it was decided as inevitable that it should come to an end. Later, about the Winter of 1998, and after some lign-up changes, the Walpurgis Nacht banner was finally assumed. It is, now, time to push it one step further from the sub world, due to the bands´ general feeling of the arrival of the right occasion for others to be able to join WN ´s crusade, if they identify with it (the response so far has been a favourable one and yet there are still few who know this act). The band was reborn with the founding elements: vocalist Apollyon ( who left in the end of 1997, but returned one year after, this time definitively, to stay), drummer Maliktous, as well as Ogon and Drozoph on the axes and key wiz Atheus. However, during the Fall of 1998, a new guitarist was found in the form of Ravenmoon (who joined after Drozoph´s departure), who along with long-time key master Atheus, has contributed to a new dimension in the new sonority then adopted by the Walpurgians. Apollyon and Ravenmoon hail from Lisbon, but all of the other members dwell in the other side of the great river (Tolkienesque pun not intended...).
