Well kids, this is it.
You've arrived at the last page of the BHS '74 website.
Please put your folding tables away and return your seats to their upright position as we return you to your regularily scheduled lives.
Address your comments, concerns, praises, criticisms, hate mail, and other love letters to the Webmaster.
You'll find his email address listed at various points around this website, but not here.
This is because, every once in a while, your Webmaster gets very lazy and doesn't want to do anything.
His doctors say this is just a phase he is going through, kind of like a mid-life crisis, or even potty training. It too, like gas, shall pass.
And since this is the last page of the website, does it really matter?! I mean, good grief, Charlie Brown! I put in a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this website! Even I need a break once in a while! I am not a human computer! I am not a robot! I cannot do this sort of thing 24/7!
(Comment from Webmaster's wife: "Ahh, but he tries! That's all a steer can do!")
But I digress...
(P.S. from Duke's Doctor:
We have changed his medication. He should be fine now.)

Thank you for remembering my sister, Rosie! It has been so so hard, I'll never get over her death, such a shock to all of our family, she was such a neat person! Please tell all who ask, thank you, for me. By the way, she died Feb. 7, 2001. I was so pleased to hear from you, and the website is great!!! I'll write more later, update you on my life. Again, THANKS for the page for my sister!!! I hope she sees it, she'll be so proud!!!

Not that you wanted an answer, really, but -- if the war on terrorism (not a "declared, official" war) ends, the military money machine would not have a reason to exist....? I thought it interesting that (Vice-President Dick) Cheney said "it may never end"...
Also, what about checking ourselves? Our policies over there which breeds this kind of contempt? How can that end? By ending our reliance on fossil fuels. That is the key I think....if we didn't need it so much we wouldn't meddle in the mucky muck affairs of these countries...just voicing my opinion.

Hi Merle,
What a nice surprise to hear from you. I have visited the website. It is really nice to look back and remember so many. I hate to admit it, but some of my classmates I hadn't thought about in years. It is really good to see their faces....and that creates the thoughts, the questions...like "I remember her/him or wonder how he/she is?". The "In Memory of" is a nice tribute to each of those who have gone before us. I especially enjoy those who have brought their information current and included a pictures.....So, I guess I'd better get to it, huh! I believe the site is really going to catch on. After Jennifer let me in on it, I sent the address on to all my Beaver friends Then just the other day I got a note from Shelley (Barris) Roberts informing me of the site. I would imagine you put a lot of time and effort into creating that site, so let me say thank you. You've given old friends a new spark, a reason to "revisit"..thanks again.
Well I must go. I'd love to hear from you again.
May you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving,
From Help Help........ (help, help me Rhonda)

I read up on your e-mails because (1) it keeps me up to date on people that I did not graduate with, but knew pretty well; and (2) because it keeps me up to date on people that Terri graduated with. Boy, she would just love this site! She was SOOO in to the Internet. We not only talked on the phone every night (before she died), and not only saw each other every weekend, but we also e-mailed each other jokes and letters and just stuff. She would get a big kick out of this! I am sad that she is not here to enjoy and take part in all the people you are locating. When Shelley Barris-Roberts told me about the site, and I went on it, I was amazed at all the work you do. It's like another full time job. I also work at a newspaper and type, create and compose the display ads that go in to our newspaper and I know how much work goes in to starting a web site. So, you are doing a GREAT job! And to all the people Terri did not get in touch with before she died -- I know that she would love to say a BIG HELLO! So, I will say it for her ..... HEY GANG! And I hope that all of Terri's friends from the past are happy and healthy ... and if not GET TO THE DOCTOR! I also got an e-mail from Wendy Whitmore Davis through this site (I THINK). But if not this site, she may have been looking at the "classmates" site for the graduates in 1973, which I was one of. Anyway, just in case you don't have Wendy's e-mail here it is: mandwdavis@msn.com Wendy e-mailed me to ask me what exactly had happened to Terri, which now put Wendy and I back in contact too. I hadn't seen or talked to Wendy in years. That was nice! Terri had seen Merlinda (Wendy's sister) a week before she died and Terri said it was very nice to sit and talk with Merlinda. She hadn't see her in years! Shelley and I keep in touch on a regular basis so when she told me about this site, I had to get on. I also told Terri's sister Debbie to get on it and see the page that was dedicated to Terri. She said THANK YOU and that it was VERY NICE! I also told Candyce Stewart-Martinogne about the site. She and Terri had become very good friends in the last few years. Their kids were in the same classes throughout their Banning High School Days. Their oldest ones have graduated but they still have kids in High School now too. Anyway, Candyce thought the site was great too, so thank you! Keep up the good work!
(NOTE: Our hearts and prayers continue to go out to Terri's family. Terri Williams-Bates passed away from heart failure last April at age 43...two months after the debut of this website. -- DV)
