On a personal note.

I have highlighted some of the things that I feel are most important.
There are a few other things I would like people to know.
My daughter was a friend to both of the little girl's involved with this case.  And my son was a friend with Missy's older brothers. My kids too were allowed to go to Missy's house to play and also have spent the night there. Having said this, You, like a few other people maybe wondering why on earth we (the parents of these kids) would let our children go to that house. My answer is this..  This was one of my daughter's best friends.  When she went to Missy's house she did not go there and see a messy house or broken laws.  She went to see her friend. They did not come home and say "Missy's house is a pig sty"  or "Hey, Mom Missy's parents left us alone to baby-sit the dogs"   Why?  Because they were friends. And they knew we would not have allowed them to go there.  I was stunned and still am over the things I know now that went on in that house.
Second, Did I know there were dogs in the house? Yes I did.  I did not know how many because the older dog were not always there and the puppies were being sold.  I was never in the house because I was afraid of the dogs because they didn't know me.
We as parents are guilty of stupidly thinking that the adults in this house were giving our children the same care in their home as we gave theirs while in ours.
