Mission and History

Welcome to the Knights of Darkness Homepage. For those of you who don't know us, the KOD is one of the most elite groups in e-wrestling today. Holding titles in federations around the globe and containing numerous members full of talent and potential, the KOD is one of the most respected and feared stables in existence. Led by the fearless wisdom of Mr. Ice, the Knights have established a stronghold in many federations around the world.

The Knights got their start in a federation that was known as the WWA (no relation to current WWA). There the Knights had a decent showing capturing the tag titles with Dragon (who later became known as Black Tiger) and another wrestler.

After a brief stay and a run-in with the federation head after several contraversial losses that were not the KOD's fault, the Knights left for higher ground in the now defunct AAW. Here the Knights grew stronger and more cohesive as well as gaining experience.

After the AAW folded it was on to the first incarnation of the WWA where the KOD had a very strong hold on the federation. After the WWA was forced to close, the Knights stepped back into the Darkness to wait their turn again.

When the WWA finally returned after a failed second try (the third being the charm) the KOD made their way back into active competition joining the WWA and the established and well-known PCWF. The KOD made a good showing in both federations winning numerous titles. In fact, Black Tiger became the first wrestler to ever hold the much-prized PCWF Cruiserweight Title three times. The Knights also made their way into the AWMC and were just beginning to compete when the league underwent a change in ownership. Because of rules that changed along with the owners, the Demon Knights were forced to leave. Black Tiger remained however to carry the KOD banner.

Members of the KOD were signed into the ILPW and the IAPWF. The ILPW seemingly fell apart before it even got started but the Knights remained strong. The National Wrestling Council began to show an interest in the Knights and a few members were invited to submit applications.

However, things turn a turn in late summer of 1999. The WWA fell apart due to lack of participation. The AWMC was still in the midst of a leadership change. The PCWF was even undergoing some problems. Combine all of these facts with a general burn-out of many of the athletes and the KOD officially closed it's doors by pulling out from all federations. Various wrestlers continue to compete individually and do quite well while the rest of the Knights sit in the shadows, contemplating a return.

In late February of 2000, the WWA leadership decided to give it another go. This time the fed was to be headed by a commitee of bookers and things should have run smoother. Black Tiger was the first KOD member to jump back aboard. More KOD members were expected to sign once the federation got back into full swing. However a change in leadership and a seeming lack of care forced the federation to fold yet again. Could the WWA have breathed its last breath?

In late June of 2000, rumors began to circulate that the KOD was growing restless and was looking to make an in-ring return. The main one at the front of these rumors was none other than Cory "Iceman" Edwards. Edwards is one of the founding members of the Knights but had never had any "official" in-ring action. He has quite often been physically involved though and has been trained for several years by all of the KOD members. Could Edwards bring the KOD back to the forefront of the e-wrestling industry?

In late June of 2000, Edwards was actually accepted into Allstar Global Wrestling but after contemplating various issues, had a change of heart and backed out of the contract leaving fans to wonder when the KOD may return.

Federations from all around the world still continue to recruit the KOD recognizing the potential held within and hoping to lure the Knights back into the business.
