C: Are you in Florida?

JF: Yes, I am.

C: How are you holding up?

JF: Uh, it was quite a shock for me. I mean coming from a different perspective, I was actually waking up in the morning and my mom called my phone and she was just like hey some plane hit the world trade center. I was in disbelief totally, I ran downstairs turned on the TV, just before I turned it on, that's when the second plane hit the other building. Like, it was such a devastation I tried to call. From my perspective, not being able to do anything right away, I was trying to call my friends because some of my friends that were working around there and uh one of our security guards, his sister was in the building but thank goodness she got out. She had some third degree burns but uh (John Norris interrupts)

JN: What do you feel about this now, having had a couple of days to think about it. Do you feel any grief, anger?

JF: It still jumbles. Like I said, the perspective of being over here, we're going to try and help out as much we can. People are trying to give blood, ya know. And trying to help out and be patriotic. It still hasn't sunk in because you see it on TV, like I was listening to you guys say. It looks like a CGI, like a computer did it, to not be there and to really see it its just a odd feeling, a very scary feeling, your trying to picture what everybody else is going through. You watch it on TV and watching all the rescue people trying to find all the people in the rubble.

C: Joey, did you lose a crew member in this?

JF: Yes, one of the crew members that works on one of the stages, was on one of the planes that crashed

C: I'm very sorry to hear that

JF: Yea, And he was actually on his way to going home, he has worked with us, he has worked with Backstreet Boys. He was traveling and Tim Miller, our stage guy gave us a call and let us know. and we were completely filled with devastation.

C: And also being a native New Yorker, are your friends and family OK, have you had a chance to call them?

JF: yea a lot of friends of mine had family that actually worked in the buildings. one women actually went out on a cigarette brake and that's when she saw it happen. Talk about weird timing. A friend of mine was walking down the street, she was going to work, so everybody pretty much got out of the way and one of my friends, he is one of the firefighters helping out. And the crazy thing is (John Norris interrupts again)

JN: Are you familiar with that part of town, no doubt you've been down around the world trade centers.

JF: Uh yea we've been down there a bunch of times, I mean pretty familiar, For me I can't picture that there's a block that's pretty much been destroyed. And then some.

C: I think a popular notion now Joey is everybody is having a sense of re-prioritizing their own lives. I know I am just personally. A lot of people are saying don't sweat the small stuff. What are the thought of the worlds biggest pop group, what are the thoughts of nsync? And music?

JF: Well, the first thing that we thought of is obviously what can we do to help? I think that's the first thing everybody thinks. And right now were trying to - we have a lot of funds from challenge for the children, we have a lot we can donate. And go to there. And were thinking of probably doing some sort of concert and stuff and stuff like that, ya know it's probably going to be scheduled as soon as possible. But then again everybody is on such a precautious thing as far as flying goes. So we don't know exactly when that's gonna take place.

C: Well we appreciate you calling in, and again our best goes out to the guys. Sorry for your losses and we will be talking to you guys soon

JF: Thank you, all my best to you guys too.
