The building itself is more or less a folly designed to look like a medieval castle - which is manages wonderfully. It is a shame that during the late 90's it was the unauthorized home of some new age travelers types who progressed to steal everything in sight, including the roofing etc.Due to this the weather has collapsed most of the ceilings and inner walk ways making it very dangerous in parts.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>We were lucky to be accompanied by Mark Baker, the founder of the Gwyrch castle Preservation Society and few of his friends who made sure we never wandered any where too dangerous. Mark has done a sterling job to gain support for the Castle, too which we add our own meager backing with delight.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>It is now owned by a gentleman living in the States, who appears not to care too much about the heritage of our country, and especially that of Wales in general. We have offered to publicize the facts about the Castle for Mark and we would be more than willing to give guest talks to anyone interested in Wales on the subject of the paranormal and any proceeds would go directly to Marks Society.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>The Castle itself has a fair amount of substantiated sightings made over the years, which we hope to add to with future visits.</B></div> <div> <B>Our first visit was a basic Ghost Hunt, to help path the way for future Investigations.
