Mary Creamer
The name belongs principally to Co. Leitrim, although it also can be found in Co. Tyrone and Co. Fermanagh.
Seventeenth century records such as the Co. Armagh householders of 1664-1665, present instances of MacCramir being used for the more usual MacCraner or MacCreanor, which is an older form of the Ulster name Traynor. In the absence of any other explanation of the origin of the name Creamer in Co. Leitrim, it appears probable that this is a corrupt anglicized form of Mac Thréinfhir, borne by migrants from Co. Armagh or Co. Tyrone. It is also an English surname, which derived from the word creamer, a pedlar, a crame being a pedlar's pack.

Mary Creamer was the daughter or grandchild of one of these men who appear on the 1833 Tithe Records for Co Leitrim.
She was born about 1840 according to the 1901 Irish Census, and at that time she was 61 and the widow of Charles Cafferty.
Mary Creamer Cafferty was the mother of my great grandmother, Mary Theresa Cafferty.

John Creamer also lived in town, as did Terence Creamer.
