Although there are several different catagories that notes can fall into, the serienscheine pieces are by far my favourite. There is now a very good catalogue with most pages displaying notes in colour, that can be used alongside the Kai Lindman catalogue. The colour catalogue is called 'Deutsche Serienscheine von 1918-1922' and is written by Manfred Mehl. Although the catalogue is written in German, the basic layout is very easy to comprehend. The Lindman catalogue, obviously uses the Lindman numbering system, which unfortunately (in my opinion), the Manfred Mehl does not. Most of the main dealers, list their notes by 'Lm' number, hence why it is a good idea to have both. There is now a new blue book by Kai Lindman detailing all serienscheine including variants.
