Multiflare

I currently have little information about the Multiflare, other than it is Wolfgang Bieck's kite of choice. Wolfgang lifts a heavy (over 4#) SLR rig and uses film rated as low as ASA 25. This would imply that the Multiflare is a strong pulling and steady kite.

User Comments:

Koral Ahmet- I've used Carl Robertshawe's Multiflare for two years and it's the best kite around. I used to use a flowform in the late 1980's while performing KAP in the Manchester University Archaeology Dept under Prof Barri Jones. The multiflare has loads more lift, is steadier and is robust. I purchased mine from the Covent Garden kite store in London for 160 pounds sterling. The original design was too fragile but the designer kindly strengthened the end points and it's worked liked a dream ever since!
