Immingham Railfreight Centre

I have been for a couple of visits over the Easter weekend. Present are 4 Class 303 units, numbers 008, 012, 016 and 077. Please note, it is 016 and NOT 017 as reported in the Mar 20/Apr 2 copy of Rail (photo on page 11). Also on site are 305501, 305519, 101663 and 101677 and a unidentified Class 86. I was chatting to the foreman at the site. Apparently there will be no more arrivals for some time while they complete scrapping whats on site and get the rail system sorted out. I also noticed that the rail turn out to the site has been renewed and reballasted. Maybe in anticipation with the large number of units to come in the next year or so with the withdrawal of more 303's and Southern Region units.
