INSTRUCTIONS FOR PRAYING THE ST. JUDE NOVENA

The word "novena" has "nine" as its root meaning. This St. Jude Novena is slightly different from the more common understanding of "Novena." The difference is rather than being prayed for nine days, it is prayed once, nine times consecutively each day for eight days.

Begin by thoughtfully and very carefully deciding what you really want. Next determine the exact wording of your specific request and write it down so that you maintain the desired wording for all eight days. Be very specific in what you want but DO NOT try to control how your request may be answered.

Begin each of the nine repetitions by prayerfully making your specific request, followed by the words of the Novena. The prayer does not need to be prayed aloud, but gains further vibrational power when it is prayed aloud; in either approach, pray from the heart and mind. Do not pray when around others but when alone and quiet with God.

Make a promise to publish your thanks to St. Jude for his assistance and pray in this manner for eight days. Your prayer will be answered on the seventh day. It will either be answered completely or you will receive clear signs that it is answered but may take some time to fully manifest. Some people have their thanks printed in the newspaper, but publish means simply to make public and witness to the power of God, of prayer, and of the assistance of St. Jude.

For those who may think they are praying to Jesus or St. Jude ... you are not! Your prayer is to your Heavenly Parent and asks for the prayers of Jesus and St. Jude in support of your request.

For those who may think or know that their Heavenly Parent already knows their needs and wants and so do not need to ask ... it is important to do so. If as a parent, wouldn't you want your children to ask you for what they need or want? If your answer is yes, then, how much more does your Heavenly Parent want you to ask? As it is written; "ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you.
