of Maui Ki Society and Otomo to Suzuki Sensei
Chris Curtis Sensei has been Suzuki
Sensei's shadow for around 25 years. Curtis Sensei is more than
an Uchi Deshi. He is an Otomo, which roughly translates as "One who
serves." After many years as Otomo, it appears that Curtis Sensei
is now taking on Suzuki Sensei's traveling duties. He has taught
in Lawrence, KS and in Scottsdale, AZ and I have practiced in a number of his classes and he is truly a wonderful teacher.
Curtis Sensei is Roku Dan (sixth degree black
belt) and Okuden in Ki Development and teaches regularly at the Maui Ki Society and travels abroad.
