Once Jones Sensei departed for Brasil, Eva Sensei became the somewhat reluctant heir of Jones Sensei's former position. After a prolonge illenss, Eva Sensei withdrew as Head Instructor; however his health has improved and he continues now to teach at RMKS. A quiet man, Eva Sensei believes in experiential learning and experiments with taking Ki-Aikido to new levels in each of his classes. Eva Sensei is San Dan (3rd degree black belt) and Shoden in Ki Development. He was Jones Sensei's first Uchi Deshi and is an excellent teacher, often teaching my own Uchi Deshi classes when Jones Sensei was out of town. He teaches regularly at Rocky Mountain Ki Society.
