Korea 1592

Orders from the Shogun

It is my desire and will that you shall take an army to the country of Korea and take the city of Newhon. This is a vital staging post in our invasion of that land and also of China. It may therefore be expected that Chinese armies may intervene.

The country is hilly and some resistance can be expected. Our naval forces will land you on the coast with thirty days supplies. Due to the naval istuation, resupply or evacuation cannot be guarenteed. You wll be expected to find your own supplies. You must capture Newhon, or at least the other two cities for your mission to be successful.

By order of the Emperor.

The Japanese land in 3 armies in the coast. The Koreans start in their captial city. The Manchu and Chinese armies start in top right and left respectively (where the roads leave the map) and are acivated either on a roll of 6 by the Koreans, or upon hearing of a Korean defeat.

The Japanese initially have enough supply for 30 days. The Koreans need no supply, nor do the Chinese and Ming so long as they can trace a line of hexes along a road to their own country uninterrupted by the Japanese. Cities can supply an army a week, towns half an army per week, and villages one sixth of an army.

After a battle, for each element of an army lost, roll 1d6, 1 lost, 2/3 out for 4 weeks, 4/5, out for 2 weeks, 6 return next day. My campaign
