Instruction to the Author: WATRAMA

General Instruction
1. Papers must be submitted in their final form, bearing in mind that no further correction /addition is possible.
2. Manuscripts must be written in English.
3. The use of S.I. units is strongly recommended.
4. The various headings should be clearly differentiated, and first and second order headings should be numbered.
5. Manuscripts should generally be organized in the following order:
a. Title
b. Full name(s) of the author(s) and their affiliations and fax and e-mail numbers. In the case of more than one author please indicate to whom the correspondence should be addressed.
c. Abstract
d. Keywords
e. Introduction
f. Area descriptions, methods and material studied
g. Results and analyses
h. Discussion and conclusions
i. Acknowledgements
j. Appendices
k. References

Illustrations
1. All illustrations must be sharp and draught at high density on bright white paper, on glossy paper or on drawing film.
2. Photographs and micrographs, etc. must be sharp and exhibit good contrast. Original glossy prints (e.g., from negatives) are required. Reproductions of photographs, etc. cannot be accepted.

The editorial board reserves the right of returning to the author for revision of the manuscripts.
References
1. All references cited in the text are to be listed at the end of the paper. Do not type author's and editor's names in capitals.
2. In the text refer to the author's name (without initials) and year of publication, e.g. Thompson, 1999; Shuman and Miller, 1999.
3. If reference is made in the text to papers written by more than three authors the name of first author?fs name should be used, followed by ``et al.'', e.g. Nelson et al., 1998. This indication, however, should never be used in the list of references. In this list names of authors and all co-authors must be given in full.
4. The following system should be used for arranging references:

5. In the case of publications in any language other than English, the original title is to be retained. Titles of publications in non-Latin alphabets should be transliterated, and a note such as `(in Russian)' or `(in Japanese with English abstract)' should be added at the end of the reference.

Compuscripts
The Editor requests the submission of a copy of manuscript and discs of word-processed manuscripts. MS-Word (Windows95/98) is strongly recommended. Keep the layout of the text as simple as possible.
