RESULTS FROM 12/13/98

Christmas carnage wasn't the spectacular we had hoped for. After consecutive days of 40 degrees (105 Fahrenheit) It was a rainy day and we only achieved three matches. The matches were still of high quality though and were enjoyed by the people watching. Here are the results from those matches.....

TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH

DAMN vs LORDS OF PAIN

This was a hard fought match. Ash got beaten on quite a bit in the early stages but when Havok got tagged in things changed. Ash and Havok fought back and were close to winning. Havok nailed Jag with a huge tigerbomb and then Lords of pain gave Jag a Super dooper double looper. Graham Man was rocket launched off the top and Ash and Havok seemed to have it won. Jag and Graham man fought back though. Ash was suplexed on the outside and Havok received a chair and knee to the face. DAMN eventually got the win after Graham man did a sloppy tombstone that dumped Havok right on his head.

HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP

JAG vs ASH

This was a match that left Ash with a broken jaw. The match started off as normal, but when the weapons got involved.... Ash and Jag exchanged chair and bin shots throughout the match. There were powerbombs a-plenty, some onto ladders and bins! Ash totally destroyed a metal bin when he was powerbombed on to it. Ash was also powerbombed through planks that were set up between two ladders. Leg drops with chairs... Arabian face busters.... Top rope suplexes... each wrestler delivered these devastating moves! Ash was given a top rope haracanrana but still fought back. In the end it was a plancha off the top by Jag that finished it. Jag placed two ladders on Ash and flipped off the top, crushing Ash in the process. This is the move that left Ash with a broken jaw as pictured below. Jag became the new SWA HARDCORE champion... A title he deserves. Ash will be back though. That crazy mother never stops coming...

SWA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

THE ATOMIC GRAHAM MAN vs HAVOK

This match saw Havok wrestle rather badly. He'd usually dominate an opponent, but Graham Man came out on top in this match. Graham Man used a lot of high flying moves that crushed the wind out of Havok. He delivered a few top rope splashes and a forward flip legdrop off the top. Havok fought back with a dragon suplex and some powerful slams. The big man went up top and was caught with a rocket launcher that caused a lot of pain Graham man then went to the crushed bin and delivered a few shots before a powerslam. He then cracked the stereo over Havok's head. Havok gained a little time when he gave Graham Man a samoan driver, but Havok was too hurt to capitalize on it. Graham Man later went for a 450 splash after already hitting a moonsault off of the shed. This was the move that really injured Havok.... Graham Man didn't make the full turn and ended up stomping Havok with his boots. I guess you'd call it a flipping double stomp from the top.... A move no one could believe when it happened. Graham Man then finished Havok off with a splash from a ladder to remain SWA World champion.
