BASIC RULES - NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN

In capoeira, your opponent is not your enemy, he is your friend. Don't try to hit him but instead keep the game flowing.

Don't stay to close to your opponent. It is wise to keep a distant so that your imagination can expand.

Don't be predictable. With idleness - small harmless tricks - you might be surprised. Be creative and let the music take control.

ALWAYS DO THE GINGA

It's the basic movements of capoeira. Instead of standing still, you should keep moving all the time.

Every other moves derive from this kind of dance step.

The ginga must be natural since it allows a great potential for movements in all directions and surprise attacks.
