PedalPower derives from an article I read recently, this individual had pedal power projects that powered wash machines, lights, saws ...just about anything that you could imagine.
I think a large number of people have got all enthused about exercising even went out and paid a couple of hundred dollars for and exercise machine (I see quite a few of them for only a few dollars in Goodwill, Salvation Army and flea markets...some hardly used.)
So one day while I was pedaling my exercise bicycle(Goodwill....$5). It is kind of boring....pedaling this thing...now if this was hooked up to something like a generator, that charged a battery or lit a light it would be a lot more interesting.
There have been a couple of times this winter when the power went out....a headlight shining up on the ceiling lights up a room fairly good.....so my next page is the first pedal power project, its rather skimpy right now but if you keep coming back every once in awhile....I'll keep updating it and go into more detail.
Anyone from Mt.Olive, Illinois?
I just ran across Mt.Olive's web site...amazing ! Here it was(http:www.mt-olive.com It no longer works...Thanks Kevin)
try these
the last one is an especially good one, I think
Here is a little puzzle, take 3 pennies and 2 quarters, place them like the top row:
moving 2coins at a time, one coin a penny and one coin a quarter or vice versa the coins are to be next to each other and end up with the coins lined up like in the bottom row ...okay ...begin....no no! turning them 180 degrees not allowed ...can be done in 5 moves with practice you can do it fast enough to dazzle your victims .....win bar bets...etc. The solution used to be on MOCHS '49ERS. Have fun!!
I've had about a dozen hits since I've put this puzzle up, has anyone tried it? C'mon people how about a little feedback? Stop by anytime I am continually updating this site...never know when you might miss something?
