We (like I've got a frog in my pocket or something...) I mean Dwight got both the engines pulled in a relatively short time. Right now they're sitting around waiting to go to the shop and have an overhaul attempted. We haven't started the process yet because we don't want to have them ready to go and then just sit and wait for the rest of the boat. When it looks like we're a couple of months away... then we'll rebuild the engines.

Pulling the Engines
To pull the engines, Dwight borrowed a buddy's utility truck with a cherry picker / crane. It was a rainy day in the fall... and it was cold. They came out fairly easily.... except when Dwight forgot to take out the rear two lag bolts on the starboard engine. Not to worry... the crane was plenty strong. It pretty well ripped the bolts right out.... nothing a little fiberglass can't fix.
