Aerospace Education in Civil Air Patrol

Aerospace education is one of the three missions of Civil Air Patrol, and is an integral part of the cadet program. Aerospace education is a prerequisite to promotion and to getting your General Billy Mitchell award and Cadet officer status. There are many activities that support Aerospace Education such as National Glider Encampment and model rocketry bivouacs. Aerospace education classes are taken every meeting and normally last about 10 minutes. Also, to promote, cadet's have to take an Aerospace test and pass with a 75% to promote to the next grade.
