Search and Rescue in Squadron 92 and Civil Air Patrol
Search and rescue in Civil Air Patrol is one of the most interesting and active youth Emergency Services programs. Cadets can get Emergency Services Certified in less than 6 hours and be ready to participate in search and rescue missions. Civil Air Patrol offers more advanced Search and Rescue courses such as Ground Search and Rescue school where you learn all the techniques on how to find missing persons on land and how to navigate the land. Also, the Ranger School is one of the best places that a young person can learn about Search and Rescue.
Also, Search and Rescue missions are not limited to cadets, but also include Senior Members and we work in conjunction with many State and Federal Disaster relief and Lost Persons programs.
