NYC MASSEUR, RONALD CESARIO COLEZ
MASSAGE BENEFITS. Massage therapy assists the whole body at the cellular level. Massaging enhances circulation in every body tissue; all cells depend on ample blood supply to furnish nutrients and oxygen, and the lymphatic system to carry away cellular wastes and toxins.
Massage therapists often work with other health care professionals, alternative and conventional: medical doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors, nutritionists, healers, personal trainers, etc. The common goal is to preserve health, prevent disease or injury and restore functional ability.
Masseurs (male) and masseuses (female): both these terms mean massage practitioner. Most professionals prefer the term massage therapist.
Massage manipulations are effective for many health issues:
* Muscle spasms are reduced by focused massage therapy.
* Massage relieves pain in the back, neck, legs, shoulders, joints, etc., caused by strain, exercise, chronic ill health or overwork.
* Massages strengthen the heart, slow down the heart rate.
* Stress affecting the nervous system is lessened by massage.
* Blood carries 10%-15% more oxygen after vigorous massaging.
* Tissue healing is encouraged when blood circulation increases.
* Skilled massage enhances digestion and facilitates sleep.
* Massaging promotes healthy elimination and optimal glandular secretion.
* Receiving massage or body work regularly: Once a week is optimal, once a month adequate for people already in reasonably good health.

Ronald Colez is one of New York City's very best and most gifted massage therapists. Holistic Health Journal Magazine voted him Number 1 for "his incredible hands and great dedication." Dr. Henry Kissinger praises him for his "great hands." Mr. Colez was trained in Taiwan, Taipei, R.O.C, and Japan and has 10 years of professional experience.

Asked to comment on his dedication to massage, Mr. Colez replied: "I feel a great sense of fulfillment from my professional bodywork. It helps me to know I can help other people. It gives me energy. The more massages I give a day, the better I feel. I honestly believe that massage is the best thing a person can do for the body."
"There's nothing better for stress relief and helping people deeply relax. I get incredible results with my system of muscle manipulation and deep tissue massage, including stretching and joint rotations. This loosens and warms up the body, flushes out toxins, increases circulation and calms the nervous system."
