WELCOME
The PTA is
the name of the Association of your School, which is a local unit organized
under the authority of your State and a Branch Of the National Congress
of Parents and Teachers.
Joining
your local PTA is as easy as 1.2.3, all you do is pay your membership fee,
which usually entitles you to vote on issues and shows how much you care
about the Children and your local School.
Some of our
PTA'S objectives are to bring in closer relations from the Home to the
School.
Parents
and Teachers may cooperate in the education of children and youth.
We try to
bring in adequate programs and activities for both Parents and Students
to enjoy.
We also
try to secure adequate laws for the Care and Protection of Children and
Youth.
The Smith
School PTA does all of the above and more, as you read through the upcoming
pages you will see what we have accomplished the past few months and will
be organizing for the rest of the school year.
We at Smith
take pride in what we do everyday to see that all of the Students, Teachers,
and Parents are very happy with the daily accomplishments.
We are very
proud of the whole Smith School Family.
