He is the eldest of all the spirit offspring of God (Col  1:15; Heb  1:6; Acts  17:29; Heb  12:9- see MORMONISM: Section 5). </div> <div>      Heavenly Father appointed Jesus to  create the universe under his direction. This occurred while we were in the pre-existence.
