New This Week(11/13) Double Platinum!!! Yep, that's right, dc Talk's album "Jesus Freak" went double platinum. I've heard that dc Talk is only the second Christian music group to achieve double platinum. (I'm not sure who the other artist is, but if someone does know it, please e-mail me at mjhofner@coe.edu. I'm guessing MW Smith, but my roommate suggested Jars. I dunno.) Also, just 8 days until Intermission.

Old News(10/29) How would you like to hear a little something from the upcoming album? Well, you can. Here's a little sample of something off the "Free at Last" cd. But let me just warn you, you've never heard themSay the Words like this before.(requires Real Audio Player)

So what else is going on?

Toby

Toby produced the two new tracks, "Chance" and "Sugar Coat It," for Intermission: The Greatest Hits. He has also been recording the title track for the forthcoming movie, "Extreme Days." Toby has also been producing albums for new bands, such as Reliant K (excellent band. "If you have the means, I do suggest getting one. It is so choice." -Ferris Bueler), as well as making a few guest-vocal appearances in some songs. He has sung in songs by the Damita, as well as Raze.

Mike

Michael is working on a solo album with the Tait band. The album is scheduled for release in January 2001. And speaking from personal experience, Michael is one of the nicest guys around. I've been able to meet him a couple times and even gave hime some pizza after a concert at LifeFest in Wisconsin. I guess performing makes him hungary or something. :-)
